Life sucks right now, but hang in there…….It can get better!
Right now, everything feels like it’s falling apart, and you’re overwhelmed, scared, or hopeless. It’s hard to see a way forward, and you’re wondering if you’ll ever make it to the next chapter. But this is just one part of your story. Your journey isn’t over, and even the toughest chapters can lead to something better. Keep going, because the next part of your story might be where everything starts to change.
I know it can change, because I have been there too.
I’m Olivia and living proof that your story, your life can get better. Let’s start rewriting those pages together.
I get how it feels to be stuck thinking “I’m a failure, no one understands, and no one cares.” It seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel and it’s miserable trying to just survive through each day. It sucks! Who wants to lie awake with worries and feel like a burden because they’re unhappy? Not me! And I don’t want that for you either!
Before becoming a therapist, I used to be skeptical about therapy and also found some of the encouragements and challenges really tough to handle…. especially setting healthy boundaries and to stop mentally beating myself up! Sometimes, it felt like change was impossible. But I learned that with a willingness to try, and a really great therapist, we can experience a difference. In fact, I still use what I’ve learned to stay strong and positive when life gets hard…..because it does! I’d love to help you find that same relief and happiness. Let’s work together to make positive changes in your life, too.
It’s important to note that I am not going to try to ‘fix’ you. No one comes into my office ‘broken’ even if there are people who treat you like you are. My clients are in charge of their lives, and they come to me for help in managing and solving some things. YOU are the expert in your life, I am the expert in providing therapy. I create a safe space for clients to be heard and supported while gaining tools to help get over whatever obstacles they are facing. I’m like a golfer’s caddy. I carry the clubs, make recommendations, and support the golfer as they ultimately take the shot.
What can you expect to get out of our sessions:
I believe that you are the expert on your own life, not me!
When you work with me, you can expect a caring, kind, and supportive environment where we can explore the challenges you’re facing. I’m not afraid to find humor in the hard stuff. Sometimes the best medicine is a good laugh! I believe therapy should feel like it fits your life, so I’ll work with you to find approaches that match what you’re going through and connect to your interests. Together, we’ll focus on strategies that make sense to you and help you feel stronger and more in control of your journey.

What clients I am a good fit for:
Therapy is a journey toward healing. It can sometimes bring up uncomfortable or painful emotions, this is part of the growth process. I work best with clients who are open to being vulnerable in sessions so we can work on the real issues together. Healing begins with acknowledging the parts of yourself that need change.
This makes working with me a partnership, where we will work together to build the skills you need to face life’s challenges. I change my approach to match who you are, considering your personal and cultural background so you always feel seen and respected.
It’s important to remember that true progress happens both inside and outside of the therapy office. Being willing to apply what you learn in therapy to your daily life is key to feeling better.
Who I am outside the office:
I am a loving dog mom to my beautiful golden retriever, Daisy. I am also a wife and have two bonus kids that live in Norway……Yes, Norway. I love to play board games and video games with my husband. My favorite past time is taking my dog on walks around our local lake. I love seeing how happy it makes her and it’s always good to get a little movement in your life. If I’m not playing games, walking the dog, or visiting the kids in Norway, you can find me snuggled on the couch watching various types of TV or reading. I especially love Pixar movies, Game of Thrones series (including spin offs), and shows about space travel. My preferred book genres are fantasy and science fiction…I’ll admit that I am a huge fan of anything written by Sarah J. Maas.

Here’s a bit about my background and experience:
In my work, I’ve focused on helping teenagers manage their emotions and tackle tough situations using DBT (therapy focused on acceptance, finding a balance in life, and managing emotions in healthy ways) and CBT (therapy focused on how thoughts impact your feelings and behaviors). I’ve supported clients dealing with high suicide risk, anxiety, depression, and autism. I create a space where clients feel truly heard and respected, no matter their background, and help them build practical skills for handling stress and improving relationships.
I have experience running group therapy sessions where I taught coping skills and engaged clients in creative activities to enhance their learning. Also, I have facilitated family therapy to improve communication/reduce conflict, and I have also worked with clients to develop their resilience and confidence in handling life’s challenges.
Before diving into therapy, I spent time working in community outreach and education. I trained groups of adults in Youth Mental Health First Aid to help them support young people better and reduce stigma around mental health. I also led parenting classes and support groups for parents to help them with communication strategies and setting healthy boundaries.
I’ve also worked as a teacher, where I developed strategies to support students’ learning and built strong connections with their families. This experience taught me a lot about connecting with people from different backgrounds and understanding their needs, which I bring into my therapy practice to help clients feel more in control and confident.
